Collingwood has named two of its osteitis pubis victims, Damien Adkins and Heath Scotland, to make their AFL comebacks against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval on Sunday.
The pair, who struggled with the dreaded groin condition last year, have been selected in a 25-man squad, which will be finalised tonight.
They could line up against another player recovering from osteitis pubis, Luke McPharlin, who has been named in the squad to play his first game for the Dockers.
After a good start for Hawthorn last year, McPharlin missed most of the season with the complaint and was later drafted by Fremantle.
Adkins enjoyed a stellar first season in 2000 before being struck down by osteitis pubis last year, managing a solitary senior appearance. Scotland was also hampered by the condition last season, playing just two matches. Magpies football operations manager Mark Kleiman last night said the pair had been in solid form in the VFL.
Forward Scott Cummings (hamstring) and Ryan Lonie have also been included in the line-up as Collingwood tries to become the first visiting team to win at Subiaco Oval this season. Brodie Holland (hamstring) was the Magpies' only omission.
