Collingwood defender Simon Prestigiacomo will line up for his 100th AFL game when the Magpies face Sydney at Colonial Stadium on Saturday night.

The 24 year old Prestigiacomo debuted with the Pies in 1996 and is an integral member of the AFL’s second best defensive unit. He played 21 games last season and has been in the line up for each of the Magpies nine games in 2002, helping the club to a 6-3 start to the season and to fifth place on the ladder.

Prestigiacomo was selected by Collingwood with the 10th pick in the 1995 national draft, and was third in Copeland Trophy voting in 2000. He will be just the 143rd player to reach a century of games in the famous black and white of Collingwood.

How do you get past the road hogs?

Bones, with a little patience, and in my case, a decent stereo, I don't have any need to rush to get anywhere, so if someone else feels they want the road ahead more than I do, I let them have it. I also wave as I go by them further down the road when they have been pulled over by the police.

You will, eventually, be able to pass a road hog by being patient. In some instances, I would be classed as one of those as I make a determined effort to stick to the speed limit, and if I find the right lane more beneficial than the left, that's where I'll drive. However, if on a freeway, where the sign says 'Stay left unless overtaking', I'll stay left coz that's the law.

Enough of this as this isn't the BB for this type of discussion.
