Now that we are at the half way mark of the season, anyone got any thoughts on who would be winning the Copeland at this stage?
Taking into account how much footy Bucks has missed, I reckon Anthony Rocca would be well out in front, and deservedly so. He has had a very consistent season.
Nick Davis would be the rookie of the year, although in the last few week Rupert 'the Bear'theras would have made some ground on him.
Anyway, for me its 'Pebbles' leading the Copeland with 10 rounds to go. What does everyone else reckon?

I think you are right.
Anthony has been playing like a true champion.
You are probably right on the rookie of the year. |

Spot on,
Pebbles by far has been the most consistent player this year. He has been one of the highlights of this year. Other highlights include the performances of Lockers, Ru, SOC (son of Craig, Orchard and Licka. Presti has been solid in defence too !
Go Pies.

Pebbles it is.
He's had far more consistency than anyone this year, and given our voting system (as many 3-2-1 as the match committee see fit to award - sometimes NONE in a bad loss) and the amount of times he's "done the job", I'd put money on him leading so far.
Having said that, all bar one of Bucks' games would be vote winners, and ther's still plenty of time for him to take another Copeland home.
Look out for Prestigiacomo - who should no longer be as maligned as he has been on these pages - to appear in the top 5 - 8.
Monky will be somewhere up there too after his last month |
