Migraines stop Rintoul

Chronic headaches are reportedly threatening the career of Collingwood midfielder Chad Rintoul.

Rintoul’s manager, Jim Tsagalis said his client had been unable to train effectively for several weeks and is prepared to sit it out until he recovers.

"We know it's from all the knocks that he's taken. He's been cleared by the specialists, but he's still getting headaches. It's been a month now. It may be that he's fine in two weeks, but we don't know. He can't even train," Tsagalis told The Age

Tsagalis said the 27 year-old, in his second season at Victorian Park, may consider wearing a helmet, an option taken up by Rintoul’s former West Coast Eagles team-mate Dean Kemp, who suffered from migraines.

Rintoul hasn’t played since round three, though the club is understood to be hopeful that he’ll rejoin training this week.

yeah it's a pity since was starting to really be influential. he would have been very handy against Bears - no chance of that of course due to lack of fitness.
