The history of the ANZAC day clashes has been short but quite memorable.
After the first draw when Sav kicked 9 goals, we had the edge with 3 wins in a row. The scum have come back to level the ledger, but on Thursady it's OUR TURN.
Memories of ANZAC games past have obviously been Savs 9. Tarrant played a beauty last year (Pity he's out). But we need someone to do that something special to let us take it away this year.
I remember the drawn game when Bucks had a chance to bomb away from about 70 out, but went for a pass instead and the game was drawn.
Last yeat Lonie was superb with his long bomb!! A true ANZAC day hero.
Please, Pies.... stand up and be counted... be proud and passionate.... Kick the Bombers to smithereens!!!!

just on anzac day game memories.... last years game was one of the better games ive ever seen. not necessarily the greatest passages of play of all time or anything but the sheer contest was true anzac spirit. collingwood's final goal(i think) of the match was perhaps the best peice of magpie play in years. lockyer taking an incredibly gutsy mark on the last line of defence, switching play to the wing where neon put his body on the line and won the contest by being prepared to take the bombers on, up to half forward where a great contest between fletcher and tarrant(eventually won by taz) gave molloy a chance, handball to betheras who slotted it dead centre from a 45 degree angle to get us within 2 points. i replayed it over and over again at the time, even tho we'd lost... couldnt get over the desparation of it all. brilliant. lets hope for a repeat performance.
