Management switch for Davis

Collingwood forward Nick Davis has decided not to continue with Flying Start management, which was recently involved in a public stand-off with the club President Eddie McGuire over Davis’ contract negotiations.

Davis’ affirars will be taken over by solicitor Garry Woodhams and consultant Heath Wilson.

"Acting on instructions from Nick, Flying Start have been advised their services are no longer required," Woodhams told the Herald Sun.

"We'll be taking care of his needs from now on, effective immediately," Woodhams said.

Despite speculation that Davis was keen to return to Sydney where he was raised, Davis is expected to re-sign with the Magpies during the next couple of weeks.

"Negotiations will be held in due course," Woodhams said.

After an indifferent start to the season, Davis returned to form in Collingwood's big win over Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday.

I am disrespectful to scum! Can you see I am serious!

Not only that but Davis has said he will be a Pie for life, and on top of that, he said the comment he made at the Copeland about wanting to be traded to Sydney was just a 'throwaway line'. In other words he was just being a smartass!!!

Where are all those people who said he didn't want to stay now?

You couldn't be any more right in saying that Nixon had it coming. I was saying last week before I even heard that Davis would be getting rid of Nixon as his mananger that Nixon put/gets his face ont tv too much. It seemed to me that he jsut wanted to start arguments that weren't even needed, just stirring the pot. TOSSER!!!

Now that's the sort of news I love to hear! Can't wait til it's all signed, sealed and delivered! Nick's a champion and besides, no other colours would look as good on him as the black and white!

GO PIES!
