I remember when I was about 6 or 7 I came to realise why my old man never came home before 6pm on Saturdays. (His shop closed at 1pm).
It was because he went the the footy every week and when I was old enough he started taking me.
He taught me everything there was to love about Collingwood and I'll never forget those days in the late 70's and early 80's.
The legends of the past..... Thompson, Davis(Nick's old man), Wearmouth, Kink, Barham, Picken, Magro, and Moore were my idols, worshipped with god-like status and my old man and I would chat for hours about the team and how good we were.

Yes my dad really proved to be a major man in my youth on who I wanted to follow!
Now days I tell my four sons who's the best team in the land and we talk about Bucks, Rocca, Fraser and Tarrant.......

The cycle will never end I hope>>>
GO PIES

Nobody had to teach me - it just came naturally to me. I know it's a cliche, but 'I was born with black & white blood'.

I would have to say that I was born with Black and White blood too. It runs through my whole family.

When I was about 5 my dad told me I either had to barrack for Collingwood or find somewhere else to live.

I obviously made the right decision.

No one had to teach me as im a pretty smart guy. I thought everyone realised that Collingwood was the best. If by a miracle some people didnt think that way it was only because they are too scared to admit that they are wrong.

I am the game, you don't wanna play me
I am control, no way you can change me
I am have heavy debts, no way you can pay me
I am the pain, and I know you can't take me

Look over your shoulder, ready to run
Like a good little bitch, from a smoking gun
I am the game, and I make the rules
So move on out, and you can die like a fool
Play the game, you're gonna be the same
You're gonna change your name, you're gonna die in flames
Hahahahaha
Time to play the game!

Collingwood showed me that they were the best. The rest of my family doesn't follow footy (would the stork please explain!!!)

The first game I saw was on the box back in the early 80's when the Pies gave the roys a good flogging.

The team work, the passion, the game -- I was hooked.

Thanks Pies.

Go Pies! You are doing us Proud.

I was once in hospital and I had lost blood. When the blood tests came back it showed that I had Black and White blood cells. They showwed me the 1990 replay and i was cured immediately

If your not bleeding Black and White, you don't truly support Collingwood!!!!!
