Please tell me if I am on my own here but do we seem to have a lot of players who appear to be wearing blinkers on the footy field.
One of my pet hates watching the game is when players pick the ball up and bang it 30-40 metres straight to the opposition. I won't pick players out but there are several repeat offenders.
I was watching the Essendon-Richmond game and I was in awe of the Essendons work in these same situations. They very rarely move the ball on without ensuring it is actually going to someone, or at least a one-on-one contest. This is what great teams do and something we obviuosly need to learn.
It is killing us on the rebound, not to mention frustrating our forwards.

you arent wrong
i think the blinkers are on more around packs..a lot of players are getting caught with the ball
lack of talk maybe? as for our kicking to opposition scumbags..lack of skill, no forward options, no time to deliver etc etc take ya pick at the moment.
