Today Mike Sheahan wrote an article on the Matera/Locks incident.
In it he said this;

"Who inflicted the damage on lockyer? Maybe he was hit by the ball. Perhaps a boundary umpire decided to get into the action. Perhaps the demolition of the Northern Stand started early and a brick fell on him"

All plausable scenarios, don't you think?
Thats gotta be Mikes best line for the year.."a brick fell on him"

So the AFL announce a get tough on high tackles...week 1, one of our guys gets pinged, then penalties slowly return back to what they are noiw...once again, the pies gwet stiffed.
