Further to the rumor posted last week that a player's gone AWOL, I've just heard that it's Chris Tarrant, and that he hasn't been sighted since the Freo game.

Can anybody squash it?

Just gotten a response on E'B'n'W which has said Tarrant was at Family Day, so I think it's squashed, as the rumor related to the guy totally not being around.

The only one not presented on stage at family day was TYSON LANE.....and he may have/have not retired.

Any prick wants to spread rumours about CFC find out who he/she follows and start one on their team. i.e. just heard Jimmys done a knee!

I'm sick of people trying to hurt this club through rumours.

Whoa, relax, Black_White. The rumor's been ongoing for a week and I heard today it was allegedly Taz, which is why I closed my post with, "Can anybody squash it?" and then was just as quick to squash it myself once I got an answer.

Considering who I heard it from, I imagine it's a rumor which'll probably be doing the rounds in the next few days, so isn't it better to kill it before it has any chance of gaining momentum?

I heard the same rumour sly but I was told it was Leon...and as has been stated here, plus I saw it with my own eyes...Both Taz & LEON were at Family Day last Sunday! People will always spread stupid rumours but I pay no attention to them...although the last one I heard was a classic though...apparently Broadie is a cocaine addict! I had to laugh at that as there would be no way he'd be playing anything if he was! At the end of the day I believe you should only worry if people STOP talking about you!!

I'd already heard the rumor, but heard the "identity" from a Melbourne supporter who's not a gossip, nor a rumor-monger, which is the only reason I posted the inquiry - but was just as quick to squash it when I received confirmation that Taz was at the Family Day/Blessing of the Scarves.

Actually, I was halfway there myself but had to turn around and take my herd of young cows home when somebody told me I'd misheard on the "Blessing of the Scarves."
