Fox shows all the Rugby games free, yet the Aussie rule fans have to pay extra to watch their games.

I am just wondering whether the advertising revenue gained from AFL will subsidise channel 9's rugby league coverage too.

It seems we have the only game with enough interested fans to justify the amounts the networks are paying.

The Rugby administrators have been wallowing in cash recently, but it is only because Packer and Murdoch have been willing to subsidise them (for their own personal reasons).

Rule 1. Barrack for Collingwood
Rule 2. See rule 1.
Rule 3. There is no rule 3.

I believe AFL Fans are paying for the 24 Hour coverage rather than just coverage of the games. You are also paying for the Club Shows, continual replays etc.

Send the AFL an email and ask them the same question. It is now costing $49:95 to watch and listen to the games on the internet......Why because TELSTRA is now controlling what we watch and listen to.....BIG BROTHER HAS CONTROL OF US AGAIN...Who saud that Floptus/Foxtel had a monopoly...I recon that its gotta be TELSTRA
