THE BLESSING OF THE SCARVES.

Today the collingwood football club conducted a world first when it premiered the blessing of the scarves ceremony.

Clergy along with the players and president were on stage when this exciting event took place, eddie very kindly invited myself and Alf onto the stage as well, Alf did his rendition of 'every where we go' well done Alf.

The ceremony was huge and it was very exciting to look down onto the thousands of magpie supporters holding up the scarves while the ceremony took place it was just a sea of black and white, it really was fantastic.

Thanks to eddie who embraced the idea, thanks to andrea ( events dept) who on a daily basis had to listen to our dribble.
Thanks to mike for leaving the post up the top ensuring everyone knew just what the whole thing was about.
