Two teams meet in a PRACTICE match. One team was stronger than the other. One team travelled 3 hours on an overcrowded plane. (Thanks Lindsay) One team was obviously not trying very hard.
That team could not be in Black&White vertical stripes as that team always trys.

Summing up, a thuckn disaster.............

LOL Alf,
let it rip mate.

One of the 'highlights' of the 2000 season was your very funny comments on this site after a lose.

It gave me a laugh even in the midst of the crap we had all just witnessed.

Alf, I think it may already be time to start your famous count down to the end of the season!

I only found out this morning reading the Sunday Telegraph sports roundup that we got done like a dinner.
I notice that WCE thrashed the bombers to.
How many players did we have out for this game and were there any stars playing. Was it a 2nds match......I dont know.
I watched the Swans V Port last night....it would have been nice to see the Swans get up,but it was not to be.
I have a feeling that Port will win next Saturday and channel 10 will be showing it LIVE.
catch you all later

I thought the practice match was today(sunday) and I read in the paper this morning that we lost AGAIN!!!!!!. What's going on? Surly, between the couple of months that has passed since the end of last season(when we were winning games) things couldn't have changed that much?

One question: how bad are the injury's?????(this isn't me making a excuse) but how come cummings, buckley and molloy(and others) have all come down with injury's or soreness(I guess it could be worse, they could have come half way during the season). This a reason I hate the pre-season cup, players come down with injurys and reck clubs chances.

Jarrod Molloy RULES!!!!

Um, DOH! I'm not going to even think about footy till round 1. That's when I will begin to take notice...until then, nothing matters.

Here here Joel,

Lets wait until Round one. Richmond slips up and a painful preseason is hardly remebered. Footy can be fickle but sometimes thats just how you want it to be....

Go Pies....Onward to Round one....

I'm not taking too much notice of footy results until the real season starts - I'm sure the Pies will look a much better and classier outfit then.

BUT I am worried about how all these losses are affecting the players confidence and the team morale - as a win at any time of the year is always a confidence boost - a thrashing can only have the opposite affect. Here's hoping we bury Richmond on the 28th March and show everyone what we can really do.

GO PIES!

Marg
