Post subject: question regarding ticketsReply with quote

Hi,
I received my reserved seating(captains) membership in the mail today and I have a question.

I'm going to the mcg this year for the anzac day game and I was just wondering if you have to actually purchase a ticket for this game,if you already have a reserved ticket(like i have) or do you just show up with the membership card and the seat will be empty. I just don't want to turn up there thinking I have a seat and then I go and find someone sitting in the seat.

If anyone can help me out,I would be extremly gratfull.

if you heave a reserved seat membership card all you have to do on Anzac day is swipe your card and then abuse a few Essendon fans on the way to your seat.

molloymagic,

The Collingwood v Essendon Anzac Day game is a home game, so as a Captain's Member the seat on the back of your ticket is the seat that is reserved for you on that day. Just swipe your ticket like Fradam said. You will however need to buy a seat if you wish to attend away games, because your reserved seat on your Captains membership does not apply to away games, Wizard Cup or Finals.

Cheers,

A.J.

Thanks for your help regarding anzac day but I thought that if you have a reserved seat package, you automatically got a seat for the finals, or is it just for home finals that we have a reserved seat. Hmmmm, I must have mis read the list of things you got with a captains membership but I am sure it said, you got a finals ticket when collingwood is in it.

Once again thanks for the answers to my question.

Not to worry about answering my finals ticketquestion,I just went over to the official pies site and it says that are entitled to get ticket but at cost, so I guess when the mighty pies get into the finals,I just go to the ticket office show them the membership card and I'll get a ticket, is this correct?? I'll work it out sooner or later*S*.

GO PIES!!!!!!!!!

my membership arrived today so I'm over the moon!!

I haven't had to buy a finals ticket in Melbourne since 1992 against St. Kilda, so it's all a bit foreign to me. Hopefully this year, I'll be forced to learn the process for getting one!!
