Post subject: Rodney Eade and his pathetic Memory | |
|
Short Memory, how sweet Mr Eade. Last year round about this far into it there was a practice match played up in Sydney that more or less incapacitated half of his side through Injury.
I remeber Lewis/Seymour and a few others were having a mongrel day out getting benched and Sydney for the last 15 mins of the last quarter were actually 1 or 2 men down. In a compassionate act of sportsmanship Collingwood and in particular Mick Malthouse decided to call the game of to prevent further injury occuring to the swans players. It was an act of intelligience and an act of a person who understood the prioritites of the game.
So i take it with a grain of salt that Eade got on his soapbox (AFL sanctioned no doubt) ridiculing Malthouse and his comments of the Plugger-Pig & Wakelin incident as a means of taking people's attention from an otherwise poor display from Collingwood on the field.
Good on you Eade, rather then proving to be a fair bloke and one who tries to send the right message to the kids you have just come across as an absolute puppet. Dont de-rail the plugger comeback for what its worth, (a gimmicky stunt by the AFL to keep the fickle sydney market happy), for the sake of getting the right message out. Your an absolute disgrace and sit right next to Tony Shaw on the food chain!.......Sorry Tony..U know you deserve it!!
One last dig at the hapless swanettes, sure they have Hall and the AFL sanctioned Comback of the 'Bathroom Plugg-er', but if it wasnt for the generous draft concessions and massive salary cap and the mothering by AFL heavy weights, Sydney would be a long past figment of our imaginations. So to give this club(swaneetes)credability is to laugh in the faces of fair'dinkum clubs such as the Pies and the doggies and dare I say the bombers who have inched and scrapped their way to some kind of success...
Once and for always Swans your just pathetic wanna-be's...!!!

Nice call Daics, I noticed in the press Roos (acting coach for the day) was straight into damage control mode after the game...didnt see the incident...everyone is a little rusty first up etc. A more direct admission of Pluggers guilt/malicious intent would not be possible!
