Using pick 7, maybe Pick 7 and McGough/Shaw to the Saints for Dal Santo?

I don't think the Saints would do that. I would love Dal Santo, but I can't see that happening.

You would only trade pick 7 for someone like Enright who is still very young & he can be traded contrary to reports he can't be traded

stoka35 - your list scared the hell out of me
we don't need " injury prone " or " average " players as we have heaps of kids who may end up " average " or " champions " .
Brent Harvey or Delsanto would be good , but why waste pick 7 on a recycled player who may not step up .

My theory is our list is ok, I think our chance of a premiership is one - two years. As i said in a previous post players like bucks(33), burns(31),rocca(28 this season), woewodin(29), clement(2Cool who are not getting any younger and are still good players. Why recruit a 18 year old when we have plenty of younger players who would be ahead of a draft pick number 7. I would recruit a senior player to enhance or add depth to the list this player could make an impact and could be the addition we need to make a grand final again. This is my opinion

Incorrect. Tenace, actually, anyone for that matter can be traded.

They had a bloke on SEN yesterday from the AFL - sorry I can't remember his name - but he said that any player can be traded, as long as the player doesn't mind, and the club agrees to it. Now, of course the club is going to agree to it, if they trade a player, and the player would most likely move clubs.

Btw, the so called 'Heffernan Rule' never actually came in. He said that yesterday.

So in summation, your info is wrong.

Richmond may compromise on the Ottens deal and accept a later pick from Essendon et al - they wanted to see what they could get to trade for Simmonds, but now it looks like they'll get Simmonds in the PSD - he rejected Freo's 4-year offer.

In brighter news, I read today that Carr may go into the PSD and nominate a price only Freo could afford. Of course, they have to get past us first... there's been some talk on the room we have, I think it's going to be significant by the time of the PSD...

Oh, and I have an idea - how about we pick up Roop in the PSD? Who's with me?!

I wasn't aware of that. How'd we get Woewodin though?

Sorry, I should have clarified - I'm talking about a new draftee (they will have been at the club for atleast 1 season in their first draft period), or a player who has just signed a contract.
