I like many others in this forum have been guilty of major optimism mixed with delusion over the last few weeks. i realise that all the hope of Ball, Bruce, Dal santo, Tenace......etc has been just that; major delusion.

At least we have Draft Pick 7.

Anything else will be a bonus. At worst, some extra draft picks for the removal of some dead wood.

At last a sensible post!!

Yes I too think that unrealistic expectations about recruiting guns only set us up for failure yet again. Even Eddy has been guilty of raising expectations in the past. Just try our best during the trading period but it is pointless robbing Peter to pay Paul. Unless we get absolute value for our trades, I reckon delist the deadwood like Williams, O'Bree, Lokan and build on young kids at the draft.

Could be right bw4l but the way we are going pick 7 could end up at Geelong or North. Good post.

My theory is simple. Whoever gets linked to Collingwood, will more than likely not be coming to Collingwood. Unfortunately, history has shown this!
