Tyson Stenglein has been sent to the West Coast Eagles for the First Round Pick 12 of the Eagles. That pick has then been forwarded to the Melbourne Football Club for upcoming midfielder Scott Thompson who is now an Adelaide Crow.

Pick 12 being sent to Melbourne now makes them a bigger player in the Ottens deal. With two picks in the first round in their grasp, expect the Demon's to shop one of their picks in order to attract a ready made player to the club and then use the other pick to draft youth. Melbourne invested heavily in the draft in 2003 with McLean and Sylvia and require a ready made senior player to be a presence immediately with Walsh and Ward requesting trades.

Dude from Melbourne was on SEN and said deal has not been done and is only still being discussed.

The West Coast web site confirmed that this deal has been done.
Basically this is the deal:
West Coast: Gain - Stenglein. Lose - Pick 12 and 2nd Round selection.
Melbourne: Gain - Pick 12. Lose - Scott Thompson
Adelaide: Gain - Scott Thompson, 2nd round selection. Lose: Stenglein.
