My tip still is that Hurricane Cummings will play at CHB.

Well unfortunately i will have to disagree with everyone. Scott Cummings is definately worth a risk and i think the calculated gamble will pay off.

1. With Cummings at Full Forward, Chris Tarrant will no longer get the best backman and will be given room to move on the forward line.

2. Cummings at Full Forward will allow Anthony Rocca or Molloy to play at Centre half back.

3. Cummings is a proven goal kicker and has played his best football under Mick Malthouse.

4. Chances are Anthony Rocca will be injured at the start of the season so Cummings can slot straight in.

5. Hopefully Leon Davis can develop into a Phil Matera and crumb of Cummings. At WCE Matera and Cummings was a great combination.

If Cummings kicks 50 goals then i believe the move is a success.

S. Cummings - 50 Goals
C. Tarrant - 50 Goals
L. Davis - 30 Goals
N. Davis - 30 Goals
A. Rocca - 30 Goals
B. Holland - 30 Goals
J. Fraser - 30 Goals

That will be a flexible and very potent forward line structure.

Nice analysis JLC, if you are right and it would seem likely that you are then the forward set up would yield 11-12 goals a game on average. Add another 4 or 5 from the midfield and half back line and we are kicking winning scores. Cummings gives us some insurance for very little, MM knows exactly what he is doing.
