Sydney v Collingwood - Pre Season

Collingwood to play the Sydney Swans at Stadium Australia:
Sunday 17th February in the pre-season competition. This will be the only game for the pies in Sydney. So all you Sydney pies supporters make sure you keep that date free - spread the word and get some new recruits along! For everyone else, come along and support the club, and come and meet up with the new Sydney group. Sure its only pre-season some will say - but every game is one more step towards a premiership - so make the effort to support our magpies.

The draw for the season is a good one for the maggies, only 4 trips interstate - 2 to perth, 2 to adelaide. 18 in melbourne. Hopefully we can take an advantage of our "home" games. I think since we left vic park we have struggled to win consistently with "home" games given just about everyone's "home" is the MCG.
The only downer is the continual push for "blockbusters" for money, when what we all really want is to win every game and not having to play 4 of the top 5 teams twice every year.
