Post subject: Nicks Bulletin Board Gold cup 3200 meters | |
|
We are calling for acceptances for the annual Nicks Bulletin board gold cup to be raced over 3200 meters.
So far the committee has snared the european champ 'magpie joffa'
(55kgs)yes the weight has already been decided)who should fair dinkem win with 3 legs pointed towards the sky.
As we speak The peoples champ 'Dr Alf'has nominated and unfortunately will come into the event with a massive weight of 75 kgs.
we need 18 runners or thereabouts to hold this 'great race'and you guessed right it will be held at the home of racing 'The cranbourne Turf club.
Please note all tasmanian nominees must not be wooly or have two heads as it could be be very unfair if it was to be a photo finish...LOL
ok so far we have that beautiful equestrian beast 'Magpie Joffa'
and oh yes'Dr alf'
Joffa collins will call the race
so come on nominate yourself.

I can be there in spirit.
If a horse thought i was to jump on his back it would die of fright im afraid.
on the very wrong side of 40 and the stewards wont allow me to ride 100kg over the limit,
i need a buggy to get me round the golf course even.
sorry a big buggy.
3200 i can manage in a car.
good luck to all starters.

So the monacrhy is sending its very own thoughorbred in London davo, gee whiz cranbourne will never be the same, oh well their goes our profit in organising security.
Brown 26 the stewards will now be monitoring your posts, i've never seen a horse yet waltz into a tab wanting to back himself.
London davo 2/1....me thinks we will have to nobble this bugger.
oops i didnt say that.

Don't ask yourself what the club needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what Collingwood needs right now is people who have come alive. |

Oh, no.
It's the annual Nick's BB boatrace.
Save your money, punters. It's rigged.
But, having said that, it might be worth an each-way bet on Dr.Alf at 66 to 1.
And since when was Nick The Pie Man a mare? I hope you're not planning to run in The Oaks as well.

Oh, and by the way, Joffa ... don't try taking up a career in bookmaking. At the prices you quoted I could take you to the cleaners no matter which horse won.
Joffa .... evens
Hoggy .....12/1
Mags ..... 25/1
brown26 ... 33/1
The Pie Man .. 7/2
Dr.Alf .... 66/1
If these were the only runners, I would clean up ... no matter who you rigged it for.
If I have $50 on Joffa at evens, $8 on Hoggy at 12/1, $4 on Mags at 25/1, $3 on brown26 at 33/1, $22 on The Pie Man at 7/2, and $2 on Dr.Alf at 66/1 ... my total outlay would be $89.
If Joffa wins I get back $100 ... profit = $11
If Hoggy wins I get back $104 ... profit = $15
If Mags wins I get back $104 .... profit = $15
If brown26 wins I get back $102 ..profit = $13
If the Pie Man wins I get back $99 .. profit = $10
If Dr.Alf wins I get back $134 ... profit = $45
I win ... no matter who you rig the race for.

I'll run, with my weight I believe I could beat most of you. I am VERY BIG for a jockey but judging from weight some others have posted on this board, I will win by a country mile. BRING IT ON!
