Australia's T20 World Cup squad: Mitch Marsh (c), Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.
"Australia has left Steve Smith out of a men's World Cup squad for the first time in a decade, while Jake Fraser-McGurk's late push for a spot on the plane to the Caribbean has also failed.
Ashton Agar and Cameron Green are the big winners from the 15-man squad named for June's T20 event, with the Western Australian pair picked despite both having been absent from international T20 cricket for nearly 18 months."

Sheesh... Mark Taylor is quoted as saying he's "surprised" but not "shocked" at FTB's omission.
Sheesh, Taylor has obviously been drinking the Myth of Smith KoolAid. FTB has never been a good slogathon batter. Who would Taylor leave out? Oz have already left out JFM...
Even FTB a month ago was reported to be "at peace" with likely missing out. |

They can't all be stars - but if you were picking the team from thast squad on exposed form, you'd play the following order:
Head
Warner
Marsh
Stoinis
Green
Inglis (wk)
Maxwell
David
Cummins
Starc
Zampa |

‘Not the same buzz’: Zampa rejects club riches to chase more World Cup glory
'... Zampa inked a two-year Cricket Australia contract. By doing so, he echoed the sentiments of most Australian followers of the game by concluding the T20 mercenary world is not his priority.
...
“I’ve really come to love playing for Australia. I always loved it, but playing under Dan Vettori, Andrew McDonald and Pat and Mitch as captains, it is just so enjoyable. I make good money playing for Australia and I would love to prioritise playing for Australia and being with my family.
“I don’t get enough out of franchise cricket. It’s great for certain aspects of your life, and it can be really enjoyable, but it’s not like being in the Aussie dressing room, not for me anyway. I don’t get the same buzz out of it.”'
