Do we have a most courageous award? Beau won the Gavin Brown award, which is for defensive pressure _________________ http://youtu.be/hvtdbfI1sqQ |

Positives for Nathan Murphy according to Hine, who is "fine" and expected to be in the clear from recent concussion battle.

Love the bloke. Remember how hard he worked to get his chance and break into the team? Just shows up week in, week out, to put himself on the line for the team. Would defo win the most courageous award if we had one, which as David said is no slight on Beau at all. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Obviously that's the main news here, and a relief to hear Murphy is okay ... but also, Nick Daicos isn't going to do his Brownlow chances any good if he doesn't learn to tackle differently! I reckon he would have gotten a week for that if it had happened during a home and away match.

So we can safely presume 2024 will be his final season.
Time to start poaching around for a similar sized replacement by seasons end. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Sadly, I expect he'll retire before the half way mark of the season, if not before the season begins. He has a long life ahead of him, and his heightened risk of permanent brain damage, should lead him to make the sensible decision to retire now, before it's too late. He'll forever be a Premiership hero. |

Yes although he stated that he didn’t contemplate retirement his persona did not so confident
He implied that he is working with coaching staff to modify his game _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Agreed.
How about Reef as a 3rd tall option in the backline?
He’s in desperate of a run, and getting some games under his belt before Pendles retires would be beneficial for everyone … |
