England won the match and level the series, 6 points each.

20 extras in this game did not help the Aussies.

Aussies have been close in the last 3 games but have lost their edge and England are a real chance of winning the Ashes as they have the momentum.

Not good for Oz. Sad

Starc is there supporting his wife. (The men are scattered in different holiday locations this week. e.g. Flat-Track Bully Steve Smith chose to go to Wimbledon.) But he's not been a good-luck charm so far.

The Aussies won. Retained the Ashes.

"Australia have held their nerve in another nail-biting Ashes clash, edging out England by three runs to retain the trophy despite Nat Sciver-Brunt's sublime century."

"Australia now lead the points-based series 8-6 and have ensured they keep the Ashes trophy they have held since 2015, with an outright series victory now in their sights for Tuesday's final ODI in Taunton.

Earlier, Ellyse Perrys brilliant innings of 91 and Annabel Sutherland's first ODI fifty laid the foundation for Australia before Georgia Wareham hit 26 runs off Lauren Bell in the final over – three sixes and two fours – to take her team to 7-282."

So far, some very dull batting from the Poms.

And pinching her bat. Shocked

Oz's last great batsman, Ricky Ponting, told viewers that Starc was batting in the 1st innings (of the 4th Test) with his wife's bat. Exclamation He wanted a lighter bat. But how short is Healy's bat?? Question
