^ And Callow has already been delisted by the Dawks.
Midseason draft is very hit and miss

Like most small forwards, Stengle is a symptom, not the disease. He didn’t do much against Collingwood in either game (0.2 and 2 goal assists in total across the two matches) and I didn’t feel he had much impact on the game yesterday in the first quarter. By quarter time, the Swans were done - he kicked his goals against a destroyed team. He’s a good quality footballer with neat skills but I’m not sure we need to revisit the drafting call. Collingwood wanted him, then changed its mind - it’s way too early to say whether that was a good or poor call.

Ginnivan would have kicked 10 if he played for Geelong Wink

Junktime goals for Stengel. Average player surrounded by champions.

Kids done very well all power to him. But we don't have Hawkins and Cameron to play with. Right club, right time, right player. Hope he continues to thrive. Very happy for him.

Bang on, he is a great tallent, but you could have the best small forwards ever, if they don't have quality tall marking forwards to crumb too well...they won't do much damage.

Collingwood forward line has been a void since Cloke left, and there has been very little effort made till now to rectify it. During the Buckley years there was an unhealthy obsession with drafting midfielders...high picks were spent (and over spent) in the middle, we haven't even tried to go chase a top ten pick to spend on a forwards.

Like I said, Ginnivan and Elliott would have kicked 10 goals each playing for Geelong on the weekend. Bobby Hill would have kicked 8.

53 goals isn't the work of an ordinary player. Surely mid-season picks and in this 2021 case PICKS/PLURAL Tyson was worth a selection after the Ash Johnson selection vs Begg. Yes it's Captain Hindsight but at the time it was discussed heavily so prefer it was Captain Foresight.

It depends when and how the goals are kicked. It's easy to kick goals in a run on. He kicked 7 goals in the two finals thrashings - but none against us in either game. He kicked another 11 against Essendon and West Coast.

He's not a bad player but, really, who gives a rat's arse? We needed marking forwards. Johnson looked like he could be that and, given his injury-interrupted season, he may yet be the better of the two. Begg may be better, too, eventually.
