Murphy looks a class above, might need another week in the VFL but thus far looks like he could get a game in the seniors _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

3 Qtr time: Pies 6.8.44 lead Bulldogs 3.9.27
Goals: Fowler 2, Booth, Tardrew, Wellings, Raines
Murphy will need to get thru a couple of games unscathed I would think before a call up to the seniors (depending on injuries/illness).
Agree Ken, no one is really standing out in this game.
All the goals kicked so far have been the VFL listed players.
Top possession getter on the ground is Lachie Sullivan, Bulldogs captain, with 27. Not surprising as he is a real workhorse. 24 year old played junior footy with him and Lachie was always our best & most reliable player, always gave 100%. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Yea, The Penny dropped for me too.
These kids need development time, and our tall support is gone.
Liam McMahon still not ready, but is looking much better. Promising
Poor Begg is only 19. He is no Luke Jackson (yet), but he could be 3 years away from breakout games.
Losing Dean, Krugs, Grundy, Roughhead, has really taken away big man aerial support, its made it all the much laborious for a developing side. |

Draper and Harrison being managed for this game.
Both had been OK so far in the games they have played. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |
