In Todays fickle world of player trading nothing surprises me anymore, and don't take everything for gospel that is written in the papers.

Heath Black's manager Ron Joseph is a smart operator but after last year's farce he is still on St-Kilda's payroll.

Yes you heard it correct, Last year Joseph sent 4/5 players to St-Kilda (Gehrig, Callaghan, Gale, Capuano and I think Lawrence).
It is alleged that he pocketed $120,000 total as kickbacks for sending players to St-Kilda.

This is all a bitter taste of De-ja-vue here with Heath Black.

Heath told c'wood that they were his prefered club as early as last week.

The age article on Heath Black was written by Greg Denham and Caroline Wilson wrote the piece on Everitt.
The piece on Heath Black came only from one source and that was St-Kilda's side.

Don't be suprised if this is a stunt to push Heath's price up.

No Deal has been struck with Fremantle so Heath is not signed sealed and delivered to the Saints.
The article talks in beliefs and not certainties.

As we speak c'wood are in the process of organising a new deal to put the issue beyond doubt.

If Heath does sign with the saints then he would have told porky pies to many people.

By that logic then stating earlier that he wanted to go to Collingwood could be stunt to push his price up for Stkilda.

If we have to trade Lockyer and L.Davis for him then let him go.
If we can trade Betheras, Lane plus a draft pick which seem to be the rumours going around then go for it. We would be stuiped not to.
