One down on the bench as Sophie Casey ruled out for the remainder of the match with concussion. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Just to highlight the knife-edge Collingwood is on - if they held Adelaide scoreless in the second half and lose by 2 points (22 to 20), Collingwood would just hang on to first place on a smidgeon of percentage. They can't be expected to hold Adelaide scoreless, so the 'pies really must win. It looks very hard from here, though.
If the game ended now, our percentage would drop to 194.48. |

Not looking good.
Unless the girls get going, Pies will miss out on top 2.
Stats fairly even but Crows more efficient with the ball. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Again a third place spot for Collingwood just isn’t justice as long as they get close need to kick the next 4 goals me thinks |

I don't think that's fair - they've come up short against the teams that are going to finish first and second. To be honest, I was more disappointed by the Brisbane loss, since we got to play that in Victoria by happenstance. |

I think what this shows is that they need to adjust the finals format - it can't be right that a trivial change in scores should have such a massive potential impact on the chances of winning a flag - for all of the top 3 teams. I think percentage matters way too much in the AFLW. |
I'm reminded of 1992, and a lose to Fitzroy that just should not have occurred.
Anyway, were well short of the standard today, and looked the same of the first half of the Lions game, so can't complain |
