I learnt that watching footy on TV is less annoying when you mute the commentators, which is what I did halfway through the third quarter until the end of the game. |

A Hungry Jacks double whopper, while very tasty, is not designed to be eaten with one hand while driving at 115kmh.
However, I also learned, with a little contorting of the hand, it's possible to hold the burger and the box, separately, in one hand so you can eat it without bits dropping all over you. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

No worries, I reckon I’ve eaten more meals driving than sitting at the dining room table 😂 so got plenty of experience.
Other thing I learnt with the regular trips was how much smarter it was to get a Maccas or HJs drink rather than trying to open bottles on the freeway! |

I had a mate back in the late 1970’s who could drive a column shift manual car while rolling a smoke 🤭
(Mind you I never said what sort of driver he was or cigarette roller her was) 😉 _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Gawd, the old 3 on the tree. I love these ads these days that say glancing at a text on your phone is like spending 30 seconds driving blindfolded. Poor petals.
Driving the 3 on the tree with a bench seat in the front, struggling to steer and manage the tape eating cassette player with a beer in one hand, a smoke in the other and the girlfriend having a lay down with her face in your lap and kids these days can't fkn read a text and stay on the road? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

That having no expectations of the Pies is less painful than the process of having the expectations stripped away. |

I learnt that this year's Melbourne International Film Festival, which is going to be screened online, has a pretty shabby line up. They're advertising the premier of the Polish film Corpus Christi. I bought the DVD about three months ago.
