A little article today on the goal scoring that year
A late snap for goal by Graham was credited to Waters making him our 1964
leading goal kicker with 43 and Graham 41
This error came to light resulting in Waters losing a goal and Graham getting one
The honor roll had to be changed to have them equal on 42 each
Gotta say I was there that day and like any tight game details get blurred _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

was it televised in those days? They would have radio recordings I expect. _________________ We shall set our course by the stars and not ships that pass in the night |

Yes it was televised—well the last quarter at least (and yes radio too) but compared to camera work today was adaquate to say the least
Two goals stood out —one good and one not so good
The big galloping Gabbo run from CHF to goal square good
Neil Crompton following resting rover Bennett then from a spill in the pack goaled (it may well have been his only goal for year _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
