Post subject: Numbers Up (New Numbers For 2020) | |
|
The following will be available:
3
6
9
14
15* (Unless we re-rookie Dunn)
35* (Will go to first draft pick)
39
48
IQ (35) and Nobel (49) will be looking at new numbers. Lynch (45) may look to move to a lower number. Mihocek will probably stay in 41, but maybe he'll switch to 14? Cox will probably remain in 46. Is Atu happy to remain in 40?
Darcy Cameron wore 17 at Sydney and is, so far, the only new player to assign a number to. Tom Wilson wasnt officially assigned a number, but wore 48 in the VFL?? So he may just be officially given 48.
We'll have three new draftees to think about, it's unlikely that we pick up a delisted free agent. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned!

None of them worth the single digits.
I'd keep 3, 6 & 9 - in the draft we may find 3 goose that drink wine. |

So with Rantall going to 35, it leaves Cameron, Quaynor, Bianco and Ruscoe yet to be assigned a number. Wilson wore 48 in the VFL but wasn't officially given the number.
It's a bit weird as we have so many low numbers available. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Collingwood today released which numbers our players have been allocated for season 2020!
Issac Quaynor - 3
Tyler Brown - 6
John Noble - 9
Darcy Cameron - 14
Trent Bianco - 34
Jay Rantall - 35
Trey Ruscoe - 39
Thoughts everyone?
Particularly love that IQ has taken over Wells’ number! _________________ He came up behind him like a librarian! |

Quote: | Ruscoe will wear the No.39 guernsey vacated by the delisted Ben Crocker, who has joined Adelaide as a rookie.
Collingwood's other draft picks were running machine midfielder Jay Rantall, who won the 2km time trial on Monday and will don the No.35 guernsey as the club's top draftee, and precision-kicking runner Trent Bianco, who will wear No.34, previously worn by promising onballer Tyler Brown. |
IQ leaves 35 for 3. Tyler Brown is the player to leave a higher number. Not Cox or Mihocek. Noble goes to 9 as expected. Cameron gets 14.
New recruits, Bianco - 34, Rantall - 35 & Ruscoe - 39 which I like.
15 still there, but we're obviously wanting to keep Dunn.
And 38 will officially been given to Tom Wilson. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

It’d be good if the Club could update the seniors list on the official site. I just looked and last year’s info is still there, mostly - the only obvious change is that Aish is now shown first on the page as “0”, in place of “14”. He left the Club weeks ago, so that doesn’t look very professional. |
