Every time I hear a report about Clemo at the moment it seems to be different!!! I've heard everything to he's OK to he'll be out for two months. What I want to know is do they really know the extent of the damage yet and if so how long is it really going to be?!?!?!? |

He visits a specialist today and he will be lost for 8 weeks in a worse case scenario.
who to step up? We may see a forward thrown down the back in my Opinion. |

Well we dont have many forwards to start off with so i cant see one being thrown down back. The only candidate out of the forwards may be Andrew Williams. His confidence may be down but he is a good mark for his size.
You would hope one of the younger players would step up though ie Lonie and help fill the void.

We can throw Ant down there and make him CHB, robbing Peter to pay Paul, but we may have no choice. Naturally after round 1. |

I can't see that happening Culprit, that would decimate our forward line, and leave minimal options down forward (with Ant anyway). |

Malthouse will revert to the old plan, keep the opposition to one goal as long as you kick two you win. I see we will have no choice. |

JC out is a huge blow, our backline against Richmond may be -
johnson presti nixon
lonie wakelin cole
*with j.cloke floating, walker is also an option
Our main area of concern will be our underdone midfield & no rocca at CHF |

Thats a pretty solid backline but I wouldn't be willing to throw Nixon down there in the 1st match. Maybe R.Shaw could have a chance for redemption? |

You both may be right, it may be a big ask for Nixon to play down back in his first game, however I will not be suprised if Bo makes his Collingwood debut in round 1. His preseason form has been stronger than that of King/Shakleton/B.Shaw & MM is hinting that several youngsters may play against the Tigers.
Scared? I know I am. |

The word I have from a good source is James will be lucky if he plays in 2004. His eye was virtually ripped out in the accident. He was lucky all the nerve endings stayed intact.
Huge blow I am devestated after hearing that. |

How much is Jimmy worth to us? I think that by round 5 we will know as he can play on a Phil Matera or a Matthew Lloyd. |
