Your wish is our command: http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?p=1941126#1941126
Please memorise all dates - there will be a short closed-book quiz.
First list lodgement is 31 October, 2nd is 12 November, final is 2 December.
As I recall, Collingwood has generally made public delisting announcements relatively late in the piece. |

Hearing up here we might be talking to a 22 y/o NEAFL player, a "hard-leading, aggressive tall forward". Not sure if it's rookie or VFL orientated, asking my source for clarification or if it's just pub talk.
One thing we'e missing in the forward line mix is size and aggression. The likes of Thomas, WHE, Cox, Elliott, Stephenson aren't going to make you stand taller against a bunch of aggressive backs.
Thinking if Crocker isn't offered a contract, in comes this kid as a rookie via ~

We must REALLY think Jenkins had baggage, or he's actually getting paid way more by Geelong than is being reported. |

Maybe the list management team simply don’t rate him as a player. It’s not like any clubs were knocking his door down.
If his ( possible ) baggage is so bad, then how did he manage to find a home at all.
The other option is that maybe we plan to introduce a big mature body via the other draft opportunities. IF that was the case, then why would you invest in Jenkins.
If Cox, Miochek and DeGoey ( 50 / 50 split between mid field ) are all available, I don’t see a spot for Jenkins as a stay at home deep KPF anyway.
Hardly a loss in my opinion but I may feel differently if Cox and / or Miochek go down for an extended period. |

In addressing your point though, assuming we delist Lynch, even with Cameron coming in, we do need another player in that position.
Cameron probably only plays if Grundy or Cox are unavailable. But imagine if only one of those three were available? Then Reid plays.
Given we showed no interest in Jenkins, that's why we kept Reid on. He might never play, like Goldsack this year, but he's there in case we're desperate.
I would imagine we'd use our first pick this year on the best tall forward available, so by 2021 with a year in the VFL under his belt, he then takes Reid's spot as fourth in line in the keyforward/ruck stocks. (Yes I'm assuming Grundy will be there in 2021.) |

Whylie buzza from Geelong just got delisted. He any good? Could be a cheap backup for our forward line....I think he has a pretty decent tank
Just found out he's had lefrancs surgery in his foot last season and he may not every t fully recover....aka Dane swans injury |

I wont post anymore about Jenkins but I just had a look at his highlight reel and he is kicking snap shot goals on his non preferred left foot. He is a long kick too and can mark really well, very natural footballer. Plus he would have been on half his wage and we could have got him for a cheap fourth rounder.
Im annoyed we didnt pick him up as an insurance for Cox and Cameron. If he plays up to his full potential and even just plays up to what his stats say then he would be in ahead of Cox and Cameron. Its a head scratcher as to why we didnt pick him up early on in the piece instead of letting Dangerfield get in his ear.
