Folks and fellow nicks bb posters.
As with this current competive environment for the sporting $ in particular the footy $. Organizes such as AFL,NRL. Rugby Union Aust and Soccer Aust are increaseing competing with each other for the lucrative sport market $ dollar.
Events such as the succesfull until the final 2003 rugby world cup, Soccer world and ocenaia cups and the traditional Rugby League which runs parallel to the same time as the AFL season.
Which begs the question
Which is your 2nd favourite footy code? We are the ones that these organizations are trying to target with aggressive marketing and adverising campaighns.
Assuming your 1st code is aussie rules that is but aussie rules might not even be your no. 1 code.
Anyway here the poll. _________________ How was Wimbledon! |

MAG, I think you need to incude Gridiron/American football as there's at least one very important SB member who is quite partial to it. _________________ Donny.

Living here I cop a fair bit of Rugby League and Union. I've always enjoyed watching both but don't consider them a patch on Aussie Rules. If pressed I would have to pick League. Union can be great to watch when it's really flowing but it can sometimes get stalled and go nowhere. I have nephews who played at the top level here but after 20 years I still don't understand the rules for Union and I don't think the referees do either. _________________ Do not adjust your mind.
