I heard 90 nice is a completely unrestricted free agent and no trade is necessary. Maybe we can get Mohawk guy for a late fourth-rounder, though? |

No reason why this can't happen.
Unfortuantley, I dont think Collingwood have the right people in list-management to set up a team like this. Or If it is Buckley choosing players he has been far off.
Winning Flags is a matter of who comes in, and who goes out. Facts are Wells and Beams decisions have cost us a 16th flag.
It's time to get it right Collingwood.
2010 Malthouse aced it, Jolly and Ball.
2011 Tarrent and Krakour helped us to one of the most dominant seasons ever ( Did we fall short because of the Buckley/Malthouse fiasco? )
2012 Buckley blew it up
Not sure which year it was but
C. Young, Q. Lynch, J. Russel, T. Armstrong just an awful year _________________ The Artist Formerly known as... |

@BigKeyForward your Grundy thread has this outcome
Quote: | B.Grundy, T.Broomhead --- to Adelaide
R.O'Brien, H.Greenwood and Pick 3 ---- to Collingwood |
meaning the rest of this deal is
Quote: | Collingwood
(In): L.Franklin,
(Out): T. Langdon, T. Phillips, B. Sier and Pick 33
|
That's a ridiculous amount to give up for an ageing Franklin who's on huge coin. It's arguably 1x first round pick (Langdon), 2x second round picks (Phillips & pick 33), 1x third round pick (Sier).
In terms of other clubs
Quote: | In: J. Daniher, T. Phillips, T. Langdon
Out: L. Franklin, Pick 23
|
Sydney wouldn't be able to sign the paperwork quick enough if the proposed trade was just Daniher for Franklin and pick 23 let alone adding Langdon and Phillips to the mix. Acquiring Daniher would cost the swans two first round picks, which is a heck of a lot more than Franklin and 23.
Quote: |
Essendon
In: B. Sier, Pick 23
Out: J. Daniher
|
Wasn't sure if it was possible, but Essendon is getting screwed more than us. They could probably force our hand and acquire Sier for a third round pick, best case we'd get their second round pick. There's no way they let Daniher go so cheaply. |

Thank goodness this guy isn’t associated with the list management team at the club. |

So who is BigKeyForward? I feel that he has been here before? I agree with MBFC, glad he is not associated with Collingwood!
I think he belongs on Big Footy. _________________ Cheers big ears |

Silly season indeed! Massively over estimated Sier’s and phillip’s value. Probably Franklin’s well.
My gut says we will maybe bring in a fwd, nothing too shocking, Jenkins or someone and we may lose Elliot. Then we will lose Grundy or JDG but throw the kitchen sink at Cameron. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions.
