I'd love to see him win it, but let's face facts. The Brownlow is a midfielder's award now. Still Grundy did very well last year.

A good solid win and a confidence boosting one at that. The body language of the players was much better and the whole team lifted to play their role. Hopefully we can do the same this week against melscum.
But typical Collingwood can't get a break with injuries. HTF does a player injury his eye like that!? I mean we have the shittest luck when it comes to injuries. Cox's absence will force us to go with a small forward set up and may even prompt the inclusion of Lynch.

The Cox thing has a twist to it as I see it
If it happened in Round 23 we go straight into finals without time to do some work adjusting
We now have a few weeks to get stuck into reshuffle—-Could be for example giving Lynch a try as Grundy backup
Ya never never know till ya give it a go
I’m still bullish about getting deep into finals

Forget about Lynch bazboy. He ain't AFL material.
The Tigers won a flag with a single ruckman and Grundy is much better than Nankervis.

Wouldn't be opposed to giving Lynch a run.
RElief ruck and park him deep forward to act as a 3rd tall to bring balls to ground.
Might work.
