I sat in the Rain for Both VFL and AFL just to watch us show how Bloody Pathetic we are.
Might as well just follow the VFLW Team for rest of the Season |
Feel for you Dave. Yeah, while I fully expected to lose tonight, I did not expect to see such a lack of pressure and run.
I feel for myself as well. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

If we lose next week, Buckley would have no choice but to go.
Hopefully we win, but.... |
We can go winless for the rest of the year and Buckley will be safe.
Ed and Bucks are tied together..forever |

If we scrape by Gold Coast there'll be hell to pay I'd say, the punters are furious.... _________________ We just got nutted at the clearances... |

It's not Buck's fault that he continually has to find ways to cover the loss of pivotal players.
I'm amazed that so many here don't seem to understand the mechanics of the devastating effects of injuries. The spotlight, if any, should go on the conditioning staff and recruiting people. |

Question...why do we have so many injuries year after year after year.

Agree with this. We continually get important players back from injury, they play a week, and then they're injured again. Greenwood is an example. We lost Aish last week through game play though, that's just bad luck.
We seriously need to look at our training ground. Players hate Marvel because they feel more sore for longer after playing there. Is it a similar issue at our training ground, it's too hard?
It's not like we're the only club with injuries. But we seem to be getting a long injury list at the wrong time of year, when other teams start getting players back for the run home to the finals.
Gym work. Do our players even lift, bro? Compare our players to West Coast, Geelong for example -- they look like men compared to boys. I'm not talking gun biceps, but in the legs and hips. We're getting flogged one on one, and for a reason -- we're not strong enough.

I saw one person at the ground tonight who epitomized what being a loyal Collingwood supporter is all about. That bloke with the long dark hair and beard, who get ups and bravely waves his flag every time the Pies kick a goal. His love for the Pies must be totally unconditional. |

I understand the impact of devastating injuries, which is why i expected a loss tonight. What I didn't expect to see was the lack of intensity on the contest and total lack of pressure on the ball carrier through the corridor. So many times, they sliced us through the centre like a knife through butter. I did not expect to see that, even with an inferior skill set due to injury. I expected a response after last week. That is why I am so devastated...not the loss itself. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Sure like to see how any other team would go with 11 senior players out, the Tigers were ratshit some weeks ago, when they were strickien by mass injuries.
