Mason Cox won't play against Port.
Reid will come in. |

not a bad thing, might give our forward line a different look...i have felt for awhile we have been far too "Cox conscious" going forward. Also gives the big man a rest which i feel he is sorely due. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

With Cox out and Reid in does he play forward or back?
please feel free to call me crazy, does Bucks put Reid back at the start and put Darcy Moore forward and interchange them? giving one or other the job of pitch hitting in the ruck when Grundy is resting? _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

your crazy:
I wouldn't - Darcy needs to be well practiced in the backline before the finals - throwing him around the ground may not be a good idea.
When Reid played forward last time I was impressed with his aggression at the ball - He'll be fine going forward. If Lynch was up to it he also may be a good option to blood; you never know. _________________ We shall set our course by the stars and not ships that pass in the night |

Darcy does not play anywhere but the backline. He is playing it like a natural and will be named AA in that role.
Looking forward to seeing Reid play. He's a great kick for goal and still provides the same target for our smalls to crumb off.
As someone said, probably perfect timing for big Mason to have a rest. |

my thought process was people that a few years ago D.Moore was looking like a gun forward, I have a feeling that pushed forward at some stage he could rip a game apart with his skills.
Fair enough he is a required player in the back line.
....it is ok i know where the door is I will show myself out..... _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

He would no doubt be good forward too!
Just think he completes our backline. Roughy is a great addition too. Frees up Langers and Howe to play their natural games.
Backline stability is the key to us taking the flag. |

FWD.
He's been playing up front in the VFL, he'll be replacing Cox who spends most of his time up front and he isn't the defender he once was. Let him have some control over where he is running. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Has he been playing forward in the magoo's? Think we need to keep in mind the extra stress playing as a forward has on your body - its sorta been Reid's achilles heal - hopefully though all goes well for him and his body gets through. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

If Reid plays well and kicks a few goals, Bucks will have a hard decision to make at selection the following week, with Cox available again. There's really only a spot available for one key tall target up forward, so it's out of Cox and Reid. |
