Best statement by a coach in a long time
Pendles was in the middle of thanking the crowd and acknowledging the day _________________ I think therefore I think - I think |

Just to clarify - were the putrid maggots leaving the field at the exact same time, or had they already got their clueless arses off the field? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Yes sensational of Bucks to say that. You could see he was "not happy Jan".
Booing on ANZAC day, a day for all Aussies and Kiwis - a day both teams run thru the same banner. At dawn and then mid morning we say lest we forget. The Essendon supporters forgot the spirit of the day in a few hours. Disgraceful. You just dont boo on ANZAC day. _________________ kymbo |

No excuse even if the umpires were. They need to get over it. Contrast how Pies took it after the Grand Final - Pies class, Dons sore losers _________________ Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal!

I'm pretty sure they were already off the field when pendles was trying to make his speech. Just goes to show how low and pathetic the essendope supporters are. They get what they deserve. |

^ Absolutely spot on posts above.
So proud of Bucks for making such a decisive public defence of Pendles and the traditions of Anzac Day.
The Essendon supporters who booed went against the entire culture of Anzac Day and they should indeed be ashamed and I am so glad they lost a close one, if that's the sort of supporters they are. Up them!!!!! |

i agree 100%, i just think it was a shame that it happened during speeches on Anzac day where coaches and players usually pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our right to boo during a game of footy. They deserve for us to be unified at this time. afterall, its just a game. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
