Post subject: Port want their Port Adelaide B&W stripe jumper | |

And article in Herald Sun (as a non subscriber can’t delve) but the lead in states Port Adelaide players past and present are mounting a social media campaign to have their “jail stripe” jumper back as AFL one in 2020
They ought to be “locked up” _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

They can stick it where the sun don't shine. I'd like to see us wear the "jail stripe" jumper when we play them next over there in feral land, just to rub it in. |

It is only a social media campaign at this stage, nothing official. Basically, they think they should be allowed to wear the prison bar guernsey throughout the 2020 season as it will be the club's 150th anniversary. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

They should wear their original navy blue jumper, or else their brightly coloured magenta one, which they wore for the first 32 yrs of their club's existence. They only adopted the prison stripes in 1902, a full decade after we began wearing the famous black and white. |

Maybe I'm just odd, but I don't have a problem with it if it's home games only for 1 season and not against us.
Yeah it's black and white stripes but it's not the same as ours _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I agree but that game they have bring back Darryl Poole and Darren Mead and omit Charlie Dixon and Robbie Gray in honor of using the jumper, and at half time Josh Carr fights Ruccuito in a cage. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Well said, Rudey. Completely agree with you.
Port can choose to wear one of these guernseys for their 150th anniversary.

Y'know... life's short. Those Port Magpies brought some joy to us in the 80s, with players and well winning flags when we were losing them. I don't care to be honest, as long as it's not against us. _________________ Get back on top. |

Just as a matter of interest... who else here liked Port... before they entered the AFL. I know I did. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |
