Post subject: Jonathan Marsh wants another crack at AFL | |
|
A bit on Jonathan Marsh who believes at 23 he has got over his issues and wants to put his name up for the draft—-his medical personnel suggested he needed no more assistance
Says he and his girlfriend are moving to Melbourne at years end to live _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right

Good to hear! I always thought he was a good player, and wouldn’t mind him back at all. If not, hope someone else picks him up. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

At 194cm & 90kg, still has plenty to offer.... with us?.... probably not.
His 2 seasons at East Freo saw him averaging; 22 disposals, 6 marks & 4 tackles. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

My mail suggests there was some bad blood between Marsh and the club, leading to his departure. I'm not sure it was handled well by the club at the time. However, I'd certainly welcome him back if the opportunity arose for him to return. He had loads of talent, but had a few weaknesses in kicking and decision-making. |

I think Marsh sang a bit of Joni Mitchell "you don't know what you've got til it's gone..." |

I was disappointed when he left as I liked his competitive spirit and dash. As Rudeman said, he had some shortcomings but I thought he was good enough to develop into a 'best 22' player.
But the club will have far better understanding of him and his potential than me. If they decide to rookie him, I'll be happy to have him back. _________________ Side by side. |

His pace was really exciting at the time and his kicking was the main problem. I thought his kicking had improved at the end of his stay and was disappointed when he left. We have Dunn to tutor him if he decides he want to return to play for us. |

We took a Yank who never kicked a Sherrin and it’s paying off
Adams has taken the right step —SO we have people to improve players

We don't need Mitchell Marsh nor Shaun Marsh either. |

Marsh has by far the fastest 20m time of anyone at the Pies. |
