Other than Taylor Adams knock to the head, it seems we didnt gain any more injuries.
Adams came back on to the field after the incident, but I guess he may still go through a "test" before the GWS game.
This was before tonights game:
Quote: | TEST:
M. Lynch (Ankle)
1-2 WEEKS:
D. Moore (Hamstring)
B. Reid (Calf)
SEASON:
T. Broomhead (Leg)
L. Dunn (Knee)
K. Kirby (Heart)
M. Scharenberg (Knee)
D. Wells (Foot)
J. Elliott (Hamstring) |
We really could have done with that extra week off going into a Prelim. But perhaps Reid and/or Moore might be tested for GWS? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I don't think we've suffered any significant injury in the past 4 games, since Sydney. Are things finally on the up? _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Adams and Mihocek all clear. Wills available but no VFL games. Murray unavailable due to investigation.

Treloar
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/nothing-black-and-white-about-pie-s-feelings-for-giants-20180912-p503be.html
'The low point in his rehabilitation came about six weeks ago during a sprint session when he was noticeably favouring his right leg. "There was a flat-line period four or five weeks post my surgery I hadn't improved. I still had pain, range of motion in my hamstring wasn't well, bio-mechanical stuff wasn't up to scratch," Treloar said. "I thought I had this one-off session where we thought "stuff it, let's just try". I did, got through that well, that was six weeks ago and ever since then I've been on the up."
Treloar had been favouring his stronger right leg. Despite trying to hide his discomfort, they were onto him.
"The doctors and physios were watching me run, I wasn't running well whatsoever," Treloar said.
"It looked like I was struggling and in a lot of pain. That was four or five weeks post surgery, I should have been ok."
After talks with his surgeon and the club's medical and training staff, Treloar worked on strengthening his left hamstring before resuming running.
But it was not until a match simulation in the week before the finals where he sprinted at full pace to pick up a ground ball that Treloar knew he would be back for his first September campaign.' |

According to reports they suspect another ACL. This would be his 6th reconstruction. |
Swans make 'incredibly difficult decision' to delist Alex Johnson
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/swans-make-incredibly-difficult-decision-to-delist-alex-johnson-20180914-p503q7.html
"We explored the possibility of Alex staying involved with the club in a non-playing capacity, but he's keen to explore other opportunities."
'The backman was among the Swans' best in the 2012 grand final but his career stalled after he injured his knee in 2013 during a pre-season game.
He underwent the LARS procedure in July that year after the initial reconstruction did not work and returned the following pre-season only to injure the knee again.
Due to a series of infections, Johnson did not play again at any level until 2017.' |

Reid and Lynch passed their fitness tests. Reid is obviously one of the emergencies for tonights game. Lynch wont be doing anything as there is no VFL game

What exactly is the problem with Pendlebury's teeth that makes him unable to eat normally? |

Okay, thanks. I'm glad he wears a mouthguard, unlike <long list of irresponsible players>.
[Actually, I'm not sure it was in at the time, because it was not during play.] |

Wearing a mouth guard should be mandatory. Not only can you break your own teeth, but damage someone else if your exposed teeth crash into someone’s face, head, hand, etc. _________________ Est. 2002 |
