2018 Finals ticketing.

I received mail from the club yesterday outlining how to register for Grand Final tickets in the event that we make it.

If we beat the Eagles tonight, members will have to register on Thursday, September 13 through Ticketek.

If we lose tonight, but win our semi final clash next week, members will have to register on Thursday, September 20 through Ticketek.

Priority 1 members = Register between 8am to 11am (Sept 13 or 20)
- 50+ year members
- Club 5 members
- Legends members
Priority 2 members = Register between 12pm to 3pm (Sept 13 or 20)
- 25+ year members
- Social Club members
- Captains members
Priority 3 members = Register between 4pm to 9pm (Sept 13 or 20)
- Flexi member
- Reserved Seat member
- General Admission member
- Social Club Add-On

It is important that you register within the designated timeframe depending on your level of membership, otherwise you waive your right to be in a certain priority ballot.

Just had a look at the Ticketek website and tickets for Pies vs GWS on sale from 10.30am tomorrow. Hawks vs Demons on sale from 9.00am.

Most expensive is Category 1 Adult @ $93.00.

If you login to the Ticketek website you can view seating plan and seat prices.

- On Sale = Tuesday, September 11 (from 9am)
- AFL Member guest pass limit = 1, level 4 back only

MCC Members:
- On Sale = Monday, September 10 (from 12:30pm)
- MCC Visitor Ticket Limit = 2 visitor tickets per member

The map lists the various categories of seating.

With a timeframe of approximately 14 to 15 minutes to purchase tickets, it's important that everyone is efficient, otherwise you will be held up in an online queue for an indefinite period of time.

To save time, I'd recommend everyone typing out their barcode(s) in a word document before 10:30am to save time having to do it during the 14 to 15 minute window.

Opposite to where we usually sit but my brother and I had reserved seats in this spot when Pies first moved to MCG.

Jumped on at 10.30. Waited probably 3 minutes before I got on the actual ticket sale page and was done about 1 minute later. No Ticketek issues here.

Wait time was about 10 minutes to get in and also takes a little longer if you have 8 memberships. Once I got in was relatively quick. Always pre-type barcodes to save time.

Ended up opting for Cat 2 as Best available came up with bottom level in Olympic Stand and we like to be on upper levels (sit in Q36 for H&A).
