For selfish reasons, I'd prefer Richmond so I can attend.
However, I'm not bothered either way. We shouldn't fear anyone. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

You'd think the Tigers will host 4th placed team on Friday night.
If that's us, I'll be landing back in Melbourne on the Saturday morning. And that will be a long, long, flight.... _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I feel like Richmond are having one of those seasons where they’re going to come into Week 1 and steamroll whomever they’re up against. West Coast seem like more of an unknown quantity to me, and they are very much beatable in Perth – I feel more confident of winning that and getting a home prelim. Needless to say, things get pretty hard for us if we don’t win Week 1, whichever side of the draw we end up in. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

i'd be surprised if it isn't the Eagles in Perth. And given that is the case, that is the game i want. Barring an upset, it gets us GWS at the G in the prelim if we win (while WC and Rich can annihilate each other in the other prelim).
By the way, if we get the Tigers first up and win, then barring an upset, it gets us GWS at the G in the prelim if we win (while WC and Rich can annihilate each other in the other prelim - except this time in Perth). _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

also, the fact that its hard to pick which of these two teams you would rather be matched up on proves that percentage doesn't matter - although it will likely determine our opponent. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

If we're going to be any hope at all we have to be able to beat Richmond on the G - simple as that _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

West Coast is the only side that worries me....
I fear that tall forward line will be too much for our thrown together backline.
Anyone else we can handle.
If we can get through a game against Richmond without losing 2 players early then they are toast. _________________ It doesn't matter what happens.... I just love this bloody club! |

WCE could still lose their last two matches. If so it would be a home final! _________________ Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal! |

Tigers.
For all of the huff and puff on this board saying that we can beat the Tigers, then lets finally put up or shut up. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Lose at home to Melbourne? Hmm, dunno if they can do that. _________________ Get back on top. |

Exactly. We can still finish 2nd.
However, failing that I've a feeling we would beat the Eagles first up, thus securing a Prelim at the 'G'. That said, we are also capable of beating the Tigers in round 1. |

Tigs at the G for me. We can neutralise the crowd somewhat, our current back line matches up on their forward line significantly better and I reckon we showed in the most recent outing we can definitely match it with them when it's 22 v 22. _________________ Brown re his GF omission:

Prefer to finish 2nd and play WCE at the G.
Go Dees today. Smash em.
2nd choice, is just top 4. Both 3rd and 4th have pros and cons. Would be good to knock of tiges and send em to Perth. |

joined in a premiership year! hmmm he of little faith?
we can beat them both, i have no doubt. The tigers ran over our undermanned team in the last quarter twice, we can take em given the right circumstances, be they recovered players or sheer guts and determination. Richmond bleeds! We can kill it, and the whole world would rejoice at sooky Jack cracking it! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
