And I love it every time P4S craps on Mayne. He just plays better and better!!! What a game from him.
Aside from a few errors, Oxley held up okay. I'm just so damn chuffed right now!! |
He’s still a spud. I hated his game again today. |
The problem is, just when you were winning us over with your long time justified platitudes of Langdon, you are undoing all your good work with your Mayne bias. Not many played four quarters today, he did. |

Great effort - thought WHE and JT a bit quiet but this team seems to find others who step up.
Backline superb given our stocks. Murphy nice debut, Madgen good, Ox ok, Maynard and Langdon and Crisp terrific.
Need some results to go our way for top 4 but who knows. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

Obviously you were watching the game from under your blankets with a pillow over your head. Best game for the club and 3rd best on ground. |
Best game easy, I’m more than happy to eat humble pie, so so important today _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Really good to see us pummel a team that was brave but so banged up that it was only a matter of time. No injuries and a brilliant debut from Murphy. Only downside of our win is that it helps Geelong. I’d prefer they didn’t make the eight. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

That win today was so important and that last quarter was a premiership quarter
Increadable what coaching and all at club have achieved in 2018 however the chips fall from now

percentage doesn't matter. |
Yes it does with the Hawks. Could be the difference between top 4 and 5th |

I’ll let you know what I actually think after I watch the game. I broke an iPad and a laptop when Richmond kicked that goal against us right on halftime and I realised I can no longer watch the game live without risking electrocution, so 8 spent the afternoon in Bed Bath’n Table choosing linen. I just had to respond to whoever it was that had a go at me because, well, I hadn’t said anything about how slow and hopeless Mayne is since last week.

Fantastic win. This side just keeps giving and giving, winning against the odds.To think that we won with about two thirds of our backline out,and having quiet games from WHE,DeGoey and Thomas is just amazing. There's a huge upside to this side.I just wish we could get some class players back for the finals though, that would be nice. |

Loved the post game comments from Brereton, Westhoff is an aerobic beast and Grundy just ran him into the ground.
Very good win and how that severley undermanned backline managed to stand up under pressure has to be a credit to the system, game plan, whatever. On paper that backline should have been dismantled and we lose by 12 goals. In practice, they were just brilliant as a collective. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Correct, expect the crucial game for the hawks will be today in terms of % booster for them as they won’t get it from Sydney. _________________ Collingwood forever, forever Collingwood |

Mayne, Greenwood, Sier, Varcoe, Mihocek and Maynard are perfect September players. Hard bodies, not easily bumped off the ball and ferocious (tackling and just in general). They all have really sure hands as well.
Grundy, Adams, Pendles and Sidey are a midfield force of nature.
DeGoey, Cox, Stevo, WHE and Thomas just have so many tricks up their sleeve and seem to find so many different ways to kick goals.
Crisp, Aish and Phillips offer tremendous run!
Down back, Langdon is just AWESOME!
Madgen, Oxley, Murphy and the like battling pretty well (boy i wish i was able to sing the praises of Howe, Moore, Scharenberg and Dunn!) _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

So you're condemning Mayne without actually having watched the game? That's interesting to say the least..... |

Mayne is not paid enough based on the game he played today. He is starting to look like an inspired free agent pick up. Mate, just like others got Langdon wrong and are having a hard time admitting to that, Mayne is looking like a bloody world beater right now. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
