Next reply will, be from a prominent journalist that the two in question were wheeled on the plane in wheel chairs and another will say they are running from Adelaide to prove their fitness .
So that is the way of media and the hundreds involved in the football media today .
Some of us old enough will remember a journalist whose sur name of BROWN from THE SUN who managed to write sensible honest articles without having to look under the carpet for garbage nor did the other handful of other journalists that were then employed .

The AFL advises Sam Murray (personal reasons) has withdrawn from the Collingwood side for tomorrow's rd22 match v Port Adelaide at the MCG.
Nathan Murphy (debut) comes into the 22 from outside the emergency players. _________________ All We Can Be |

All the best to Sam, and hope hes okay. Pretty bad timing, though, given our overall defensive stocks... we now have three defenders whove collectively played a total of three senior AFL games this year before tomorrow. Ouch. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Still 8 players under 50 games. Although, as David points out, 3 defenders with not many 2018 games between them.
Looking forward to seeing Murphy at this level. Ive been a bit more positive than some about Madgens first two games. _________________ All We Can Be

OK, as green as Murray is...this is a freakin ballsy move. To debut ANOTHER player? Cmon now...
Magden, Murphy, Oxley, Sier, Mihocek, Stephenson...with two rounds to go and finals on the line.

Hell, horrible news...hope everything is OK for Sam Murray.
OK, Nathan Murphy come on down.
With our defence now just the height and experience of a sapling, we will need our midfielders more than ever to apply extreme pressure. Not a great time to be debuting a defender....but we need to make sure that we play so that the ball does not come in fast to our defence. We need to win central clearances, and apply immense pressure at each and every contest. Definitely foul weather, with rain and hail, is good for us now, to ensure that the ball does not come in fast to our decimated defence. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

If this team actually defeats Port and secures a finals appearance, Buckley is coach of. The year.
This is ridiculous. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Agree. In fact, vying for coach of the Century, and our assistants likewise: Assistant coaches of the Century. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

^ Wed better bloody hope Langdon stands up.
A lot of additional unknowables will decide this game. Weather, Ports real injury status, our reserves backline. Roll the dice, at this point. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Bucks is already coach of the year. As mttm said, if we win with this defence he will surely be recognised as one of the greatest coaches ever!

The equation remains the same. Midfield and high half forwards need to dominate and keep the ball from Ports F50. Its why we saw Stephenson inside D50 last week. Gonna be a massive challenge. _________________ Est. 2002 |
