He was good today. Nice poise and skills and some good tackling pressure. Well done Josh. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

This will be the key to his development. Hopefully he can add 5 metres to his kicking and learn to stick his tackles (the mind is willing but the body is not able at the moment) and improve his contested possession rate.
I think he'll be a good player. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

I couldn’t disagree more re: adding 5m to his kicks.
He comfortably kicks 50m set shots on his right, and has a laser left peg too. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Whenever he takes a set shot from 50, he always runs off his line to give himself extra distance and usually ends up sacrificing accuracy as a result. He can't kick 50 comfortably. Maybe 45, but not 50.
Also, at the moment, while his kicks are accurate, they sometimes hang in the air too long. I think he can fix that in the future as well. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

What the kid is just that —a second year player and looking at father,s who were great and their kids followed suit Gary Ablett was gr8
Did GA junior set the world alight from day one—think it took a few games
History teaches us one thing-we don’t learn from it
Give Josh time please _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Great game from Josh.
Used the ball really well (as per usual) and did a lot of hard, grunt work. Was probably slightly unlucky to get dropped initially but he really staked a claim when he was re-named for Darcy. |

How good is Josh Daicos?
I've been pleased with his progress this year but when he kicked THAT goal last night I felt like it was turning point not only for the game but for his career. I look forward to seeing what he does from here on and will be expecting a lot more from him than I had prior to yesterday's game.

I think he has been playing too much in the mid/wing. If he goes forward he makes something out of nothing and could do better than what Stevo/JT/WHE are doing rn with their bad form. A steal for a Pick 57. _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

It was an incredible moment. And one of the best things was that he actually had the confidence to do it, at that stage of the game and after we'd been so inaccurate in front of goal. That's a hugely positive sign of his development as a player. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
