He was outstanding in the 2nd qtr, presented himself well to the ball and thwarted several eagle attacks |
So, your view is that he was just useless in the first quarter, is it? |

I don't think he's saying that, he was solid in the first with some early touches, whilst Howe got monstered by Kennedy. More that Moore shone after that particularly the second when he took the game on. His body work and ability to punch the ball away negated Kennedy as a scorer after the early blitz. _________________ Get back on top. |

Thankfully looks like my gut was wrong on this one. The language prior to this interview wasn't great.
Anyway fantastic news, Darcy could be anything. Has it all, just needs to stay on the park.
Agree like a lot of others, after missing quite a few games of football Darcy was very good with his dare and spoiling. Think he'll be even better this week. _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |

It was in today's paper i think. The clickbait is misleading, it came from this interview
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/07/16/manager-confident-moore-will-re-sign-with-pies/
Darcy Moore’s manager says he is “confident” the swingman will re-sign with Collingwood, despite rival interest.
Liam Pickering has backed the Pies and Moore to strike a new deal, while acknowledging the interest coming from other clubs and the speculation surrounding how much money he could receive.
“All I ever said was Sydney have got some interest. There is still some interest there from a number of clubs but I’ve said all along that I’m confident that we will be able to get it done.
“I’ve been in discussions with Collingwood for a number of weeks now, so I’m comfortable where it is all at.
“I speak to (Collingwood list manager) Ned Guy once a week.
“I’m not putting a timeframe on it, you want to get it done when it’s ready.
“Are there clubs inquiring about Darcy? Of course there are. Darcy is the flavour of the month now.
“Every player that is young and plays in the position Darcy plays and, like a Jordan De Goey, hits a purple patch of form, is going to be paid more than they’re currently worth.
“That’s just the game. You always pay extra to get guys. If you want to move them, you got to pay extra.” _________________ Get back on top. |

^Waste of time read which pumps up him not signing yet. Darcy himself says no rush. The article is now introduced with quotes from Pickering saying that he likely stays.
Another article about retaining Allir Allir then uses the following
"SYDNEY could have to stump up as much as $400,000 a season to keep Aliir Aliir as their chase for Darcy Moore stalls." _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

^Relax, when his manager says he's likely to stay.
He knows what direction things are heading.
Good news on this DeGoey, Thomas, Shaz, Murphy etc who have all re-signed. Billy must be the priority now. Things are falling into place nicely. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

My view is that he wasn't useless at all. One of our finest, and extra significant given he hadn't played for so long. _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |

Darcy then Jamie and we've got everything from this list we need in place for the coming seasons
Time then to chase Day and go to the draft and find us some more speed and hopefully 1 more tall |

i'd play Day on a wing as he is deadly accurate from 150 yards out ....... _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

E, Murphy is Nathan Murphy, our 2nd round draft pick. A rangy flanker who is a great sportsman (played U17 cricket for Aust) but hadn't done a football pre-season accordingly.
He's 190cm but should finish growing at about 195cm (he had a broken arm which slowed his growth) and the hope is to build him up to about 90kg.
Qldmagpie - Aren't we chasing Stephen May, rather than Sam Day from GC?
In the draft we will likely secure Isaac Quaynor 181cm running half back/winger (from Oakleigh Chargers, Vic Metro and All Australian) and Will Kelly 192cm, son of Craig, Key position backman, so you'll get your wish in that respect. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

How does a broken arm slow your growth?
