mobile app?

sorry if this has been done before. i haven't been on here on years.

is there a better way to use the site on a smart phone? I have used tapatalk with other forums, but nicks doesn't seem to be on there.

I do most of my internet browsing on my phone on the train, so it would be good to get a good mobile experience on nicks.

Perhaps it’s just because I’m used to this, but I kind of prefer the existing interface. I post on another (previously, pretty much identically designed) board that recently upgraded to a new, ostensibly more mobile-friendly layout, and I really don’t like it. But then, I often prefer to use desktop rather than mobile versions of sites – at least partially because the latter almost always end up reducing functionality in some way.

most forum software just requires a plugin to get it to work with tapatalk on mobile. No change to the desktop site. I suspect Nick's hasn't changed much and may be still running an old version that may not have that capability.

Sorry, what I meant is that I like using the desktop version (and desktop versions of most sites) on my iPhone! I do grant though that a tapatalk-friendly plugin might still enable switching between interfaces on a phone – it'd just be annoying (for me, at least) if it became the default
