Yep, Hine explained himself pretty well when discussing their reasoning.
Quaynor has long been regarded but Kelly has been the bolter this year on the back of going from end of the ground to the other.
They are both serious prospects, so I can’t see us passing on either.
We do have options available to get them both but option A would have to be one that doesn’t include chopping up our current first round pick. |

I don’t want Tom Lynch. I’d rather get McGovern from west coast. I reckon a key back is a bigger priority. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

I guess that's why the club was planning on moving Moore to defence this year, so he could fill that void and open up a spot for Lynch. |

^ Did anyone hear Bucks statements about Lynch not being pinned down by the AFL to stay at GC?
Had a bit of passion/emphasis about it that surprised me given Bucks is normally pretty cool in his press appearances.
Makes me assume that we are up to our ears in our interest in him. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Rather Tom “Adelaide” Lynch which for $650,000/year over 3-4 years would be way more than the Crows would stump up plus use the extra cash on retaining both Moore and DeGoey. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Having Gaff & Phillips in this current form would be ideal. And keep in mind that we have a very flexible team so if we fill that wing position with Gaff that pushes some of our more talented runners forward of the ball.
Lynch might be overrated, but if he nominates Collingwood then that deal will happen most likely.
If we struggle to get Lynch I’d assume we would try to retain our best players and hit the draft and hope to find a strong tall forward in the first round. _________________ The American Pie - Watch Him Fly |

^I've read nothing to suggest we are interested in Gaff and don't see structurally why we would be into him either.
We have plenty of winger/mids _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Crows, as always value their players at contract time like “plebs”. Probably the best forward connector in the game. Runs, kick goals and has great endurance. Seems keen to move back. Would need to be traded for though. |
Crows have announced he's signed a 3 year deal this morning.
Was a good idea, but now out of the frame. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
